What is the difference between Handicap and Money Line markets?

Money Line

Pick the winner of the game.

• A simple bet on which team will win.
• In a 2-way market, a draw usually results in a push (stake refunded).
• In a 3-way market, the draw can be selected as a separate option.

Handicap

Balances the odds between teams.

• A virtual advantage or disadvantage is applied to one team to even the contest and offer better odds.
• For example, a team with a -1 Handicap must win by 2 or more goals for the bet to win; a +1 Handicap can win if the team draws or wins.
